A Cold Weather Advisory goes into effect from 11 PM tonight till 6 PM Friday evening for Zapata, Jim Hogg, Brooks, Starr, Hidalgo and Inland portions of Cameron, Willacy and Kenedy Counties. Wind chill values of 18 to 27 F degrees are expected.
A Freeze Warning goes into effect from 11 PM tonight until 8 AM Friday morning. Temperatures are expected to fall as low as 28-31 F by Friday morning. Remember to protect the 4 P's: People, Pets, Pipes, and Plants!
Small Craft Advisories continue across all coastal waters today, ending across the bay and nearshore waters (out 20 nautical miles) at Midnight, and offshore waters (20-60 nautical miles) at 6 AM Friday.
Life-threatening conditions expected in the surf into this weekend with a High Risk of Rip Currents through at least Friday and a High Surf Advisory in effect through this afternoon.
